Cornish pasties
The Cornish pasty is a true British classic from Cornwall, in the south-west of England: chunks of tender, peppery steak and melt-in-your-mouth vegetables, all wrapped up in homemade buttery shortcrust pastry. It was originally the lunch of Cornish miners, who could hold it by its thick crimped edge.
In this video, you will learn how to make the pastry, dice the filling, then fold, seal, crimp and bake the pasties until golden.
