NY tour guide
These activities will allow you to practise extended listening comprehension in an authentic travel context: a New York tour guide, Deborah, first welcoming her group on arrival day and outlining the afternoon and the next day's plans, then briefing them on the following day's programme (a visit to the MOMA and Rockefeller Center). You'll need to follow natural, connected speech carrying detailed information — times, prices, directions, instructions and cultural or historical facts about the city's landmarks — and check your understanding with a short quiz.
